An evening of TV.
From the delightful world of yesteryear of Cranford (with the wonderful Judi Dench) on BBC2 to the modern gutter of "Titty Bang Bang" (repeat on BBC3). We also taped Graham Norton's show with Alan Carr and Glenn Close but we'll watch it another night.

And now a clip from "Titty Bang Bang": the 2 horsey ladies, spying on "strong, uneducated men horsing around".

The week-end came and went so quickly.
It was mainly gardening: we got the garden ready for winter (and planted some bulbs today) and I committed murder most horrid!
I cut down a mimosa tree that suffered from gigantism, shooting from less than 2 feet to over 11 in just 18 months; it was too big for the garden, very top heavy and no pole managed to keep it upright when it was windy.
Last week with the heavy rains, it blew over covering most of the garden.
Sadly we had to get rid of it, pruning would have not been enough.

R.I.P. mimosa longifolia!

Tonight we also enjoyed the new BBC period drama Cranford,  with a stellar cast that includes Judi Dench and Imelda Staunton.
And now it's time for bed.... Monday morning is already looming!
