An evening of food and laughter

Last night we had dinner with 5 neighbours (they all live 2 streets up from us). Lynne and Jennifer invited us round and Bob(by) and Neil, and Alex were the other guests.
It was a fantastic evening!! The food was lovely (chicken roast dinner with all the traditional trimmings such as Yorshire puddings; mini raspberry pavlovas and cheesecake) but the company was even better.
We had such a laugh and there was never a dull moment or even a lull in the conversation.
One of the funniest stories was about Jennifer's Mum and a game of Scrabble
