Nina Zilli will represent Italy at the 2012 Eurovision Song Festival with this song.
(I don't know whether the song will be in Italian or will be translated into English)

And the United Kingdom will be represented by Engelbert Humperdinck, who will be the oldest ever competitor at 75 years of age.

I wonder what he'll be singing - let's just hope that he won't try hip-hop!

I've loved Nina Zilli since 50 Mila.

But I'm ess enthused about her Eurovision entry. Too bad that Switzerland didn't send Lys Assia. Then Englebert would be the second oldest (I think ... not exactly sure how old Ms. Assia is).

I quite like the song, it grows on you.

Oh yes, I read about the octogenarian former winner - it would be great if she had been selected.

So Nina Zilli took my advice and went with something a little more 50Mila. This is the new selection:

Maybe it doesn't stand out like the last, but I do like it better! :)

ETA: Oh no. You are right! I listened to the last entry and it's already grown on me. Nina! Change it back!!

LOL!
I like them both.
L'Amore e' Femmina is rather catchy but I still prefer Per Sempre, but only just!
