london1967A couple of weeks ago I happened to mention Angela Lansbury in one of my posts, et voilà right on cue here she is!
On Sunday Ross and Jim said that they had one extra ticket for a gala performance in aid of Crusaid this Sunday night (because a friend had to pull out). After some "You go Darling!" and "No, you go!", Adrian bought the ticket from them.
There were still tickets available from here when I checked on Sunday night but I decided to be mean and not to go, even though it is probably my only chance of ever seen her on stage, and that I'll probably regret not going.

In other news, last night my brother e-mailed me to say that my old cat had died. She was old (18 years) and I only got to see her about 4 times a year but I'll miss her. A lovely evening ended with some tears.
