Freezing Fair

We spent most of the day outdoors (from 9 am to 6 pm) at the Christmas Fair at our local garden shop/cafe' and the temperature was just above freezing.
Despite the multiple layers of clothing we were both very cold when we got home (I took one of the longest showers I ever had to warm up!)

While we were at the fair this female blackbird

spent her day pecking and flying into the wall mirror in the garden.
(Everytime either of us got home, we observed her doing this almost incessantly; here she's enjoying a little break).
I feel sorry for her... maybe I should cover the mirror? No other bird has ever been so persistent in attacking it. 

Now it's bed time and tomorrow we'll be back at the fair! I'm feeling cold already! lol
