I just got an e-mail from the British Museum Online Shop "Final Clearance: Save Up to 70%"
Among the items, it's a " full size replica of Antinous the Emperor Hadrian's Greek companion, based on an original located in the Capitoline Museum in Rome" now priced at £6,000 (a massive £4,000 discount from the non-sale price of £10,000). (Note: it's made of plaster).

"Antinous accompanied the Emperor Hadrian on his many journeys through the Roman Empire and it is suggested that the pair were lovers. After his death, Hadrian had Antinous proclaimed a god."
Unfortunately, the e-mail informs me that it's the last life-size replica left.
Oh, if only they had had a pair! ;-) (Adrian - without the H - always says that it's best to buy ornaments in pairs)
Plus, truth to be told, Hadrian - with the H - is much more my type (than Antinous).
