Adrian and I had the great pleasure of spending an evening with arktos62 .

We met Craig in the Kings' Arms


and then we walked down to Old Compton Street.
Our friend Malcolm had organised surprise birthday drinks for his other half Tony in Compton's; as we had said that we wouldn't have made it because of my leg, we surprised them both!
We spent a few minutes with them before the whole group went to dinner nearby and Craig and us crossed the street to dine in Balan's.

It was a lovely evening: Craig is chatty, witty and charming, just as I expected from reading his journal.
