An Italian evening in Boston
Oct. 9th, 2008 02:47 pmDo you ever sneer at Italian tourists in London who flock to Italian restaurants instead of trying some of the culinary delights of the capital? Well I do.
But I swear it was all an accident/coincidence that we ended up first in an Italian pasticceria/bar and then in a pizzeria!
If we need a scapegoat, let's blame the handsome
madknits !
We met by the statue of traitor patriot Paul Revere in the North End, and then enjoyed a lovely chat and Italian pastries in a nearby cafe'
(london1952 and
madknits look so serious but they were afraid of my big... camera)
We then decided to go for a pizza; the street signs pointed to all directions but a pizzeria
and fantastic waitress: she was a real character
Afterwards, Ken walked us to Park Street station playing tour guide too. We were very impressed by his knowledge of Bostonian history - he's not just a pretty face, but of course I knew that already from his LJ.

* Some of these pictures may look a bit weird as they were taken with Adrian camera and I forgot that they don't have exactly the same ratio as mine when I resized them. I was too lazy to do it again, plus I kind of like the comic effect.
