Damn it, Janet!

I think I have finally snapped out of my usual post Christmas holiday blues this week. Hooray!

I'm listening to The Rocky Horror Picture Show on my Creative MP3 player here at work while coding away (the reason for this choice is that we're off to see "Enchanted" this evening and Suran Sarandon - one of my favourite actresses - is in it, playing the villain I think).

Poor Adrian (london1952) last night managed to get a better night's sleep. He has been suffering Tietze syndrome for the last couple of months (a very painful inflammation, with some swelling, of the cartilage in the rib cage near the sternum). Whenever he turns in bed, he feels like he's being stabbed.
At first we were worried it could have been a heart problem but the EGC was more or less normal. According to his GP he has just to wait for it to go away and take painkillers. As he also has some back and neck pain, I'm trying to convince him to have some massage therapy hoping that it will alleviate the pain.

No plans for the week-end apart from Sunday, when Enid our neighbour will take us out to lunch.
