Red = amaryllis

I haven't posted any pictures for a few days (haven't quite finished with selecting my favourite shot from our Florida trip) so here are some pictures of the gorgeous red amaryllis in the sitting room, now in full bloom 

Can you think of anything more lusciously red than this?

Should I wear white?

Exactly in one month's time, I'll get married (I should have put it in brackets as it is a civil partnership but for us it's really the same).
Last Thursday we finalised the details of the readings (2 by the witnesses, and 2 to each other) and picked the music to play during the ceremony at the registry office.
The only requirement (apart from the length), is that there's no mention of God in any readings/music.

The chosen poetry and music are now with the council for their approval. Hopefully they'll be happy with it.

The vows we have selected contain the promise to be "faithful"... I just hope that nobody will snigger (or gasp) when I read that!! 
I had thought about removing it but then decided to leave it in: in my heart and mind I am very faithful, and Adrian's happy with that.

I'm getting quite excited about the big day now!
