Office palm reading

Maxine, who knows palm reading (and is about to leave the company), says that my career line is very short but that I have a long life line (but then she would say that, wouldn't she?)

The short career line is no surprise and it is consistent with 
a) my almost complete lack of career aspirations
b) the current prospects in this company

As I've always maintained that suicide is the only option for me when I'm old and poor, maybe it means that I'll win the lottery!! (or perhaps that I won't have the nerve to do it).
