'Lavender' sunset

london1967Well they did promise us spectacular sunsets - courtesy of Iceland's newest export - but it was just hype!
I waited tonight on London Bridge and this is what I saw:
(the building on the left is where I work)
(as you can just see in this picture, the moon is a tiny sliver so no chance of a big, purple moon tonight either)
Still, it's always pleasant to spend some time by the river and to stop and look at London every one and then, instead of just rushing through it.
